Our customers love it when we do something new….well, we are now open from 5pm-9pm every Saturday night at our little sister café….The Beach Hut!
Whether you are looking for somewhere to go for a drink to get your evening started or you just fancy a sundowner and a sharing board….this is the perfect place.
Look on our Beach Hut section of the website for details of where we are. You can do a lovely walk around Portchester castle and come to us, we are literally 5 mins away!
The sharing boards (you don’t have to share, we won’t tell!) are served from 5pm-9pm and we also have some lovely cocktails and gorgeous wine to accompany them.

Salty Sum Up of 2021…
We’ve had a great start to 2022 here at the cafés and it’s great to see all of our regulars returning time and time again! I thought it would be nice to reflect on the last year of changes at Salt.
What happened at Salt Café in the last year….
we got bigger, much bigger! We opened the new part of the café up and our new bar area is very appealing! So come and have a drink or two and a sharing platter (you don’t have to share, we won’t tell!)
we developed our menu into a more brunchy/lunchy one! You can still get your Salt Café grilled breakfasts but only before 12pm!we are now a bookable venue and the system is amazing. Our customers are the most important part of the café and ensuring that they get the best experience is our top priority. If you plan on coming to the café then we advise that you book online to avoid disappointment!
we now have our very own pizza oven (exciting, I know!) and so we have pizza nights every Friday night. They are sourdough pizzas with yummy topping choices, so what’s not to love?! We are looking at expanding our cocktail range as we go into summer…..look out for those!
We’ve had a great start to 2022 with a busy January. Which, of course, means we are planning more changes to improve the café for all our customers. Keep your eyes peeled….See you all soon!
